Spiritual Evaluation: Where does the Bible say I will spend eternity?

    Please read each set of verses prior to deeply considering and answering the following 10 questions that pertain to your eternal destiny.

     1 Thessalonians 5:21 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.
    1 John 2:4 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
    2 Peter 1:10 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;    


    Question 1:

    1 Corinthians 15:1-5  1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,  5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.

    Mark 16:19 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

    2 Timothy 1:10 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,    


    Question 2:

    Romans 10:17 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    John 20:31 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

    2 Thessalonians 2:12 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.    


    Question 3:

    Mark 2:17 17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

    Acts 26:20 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.

    2 Corinthians 7:10 10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

    Luke 13:3 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.    


    Question 4:

    Matthew 10:32 32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.

    Romans 10:10 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    Acts 8:37 37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

    2 John 7 7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.    


    Question 5:

    Matthew 28:19 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

    Acts 2: 37-38 37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”   38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

    Acts 2:40-41 40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

    1 Peter 3:21 21 There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

    Mark 16:16 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

    Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

    Acts 22:16 16 And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’

    Galatians 3:27 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

    Acts 8:36-38 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” 37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” 38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.    


    Question 6:

    Acts 20:7 7 Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.

    1 Corinthians 16:2 2 On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.

    Acts 2:42 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

    Romans 1:25 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

    Hebrews 10:24-25 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.    


    Question 7:

    Ephesians 5:19 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,

    John 4:23-24 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

    Mark 7:6-9 6 He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 7 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.” 9 He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

    2 John 9 9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son    


    Question 8:

    1 John 1:7 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

    Mark 12:30 30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

    John 14:15 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

    Hebrews 5:9 9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

    Galatians 5:4 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

    Colossians 3:6 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,    


    Question 9:

    2 Peter 3:18 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

    James 4:8 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

    Acts 6:4 4 but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

    Colossians 4:2 2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;

    1 Timothy 4:13 13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

    1 Timothy 4:16 16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

    Colossians 1:23 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

    Matthew 7:13-14 13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.  14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.    


    Question 10:

    Matthew 24:44 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

    1 Thessalonians 5:1-2  1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

    2 Corinthians 5:10 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

    Romans 14:12 12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

    John 12:48 48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

    James 4:14 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

    Matthew 7:21 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

    Matthew 10:28 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
